He has rabbit ears, a napkin tucked under his chin, and a jar of Savora mustard on the table. Leonetto Cappiello (1875 to 1942) designed the character around 1929 for Savora, a mustard-like condiment first made by Colman's in England in 1899 and sold in France only after the First World War.
