1. About Vintage Poster Archives
We are Vintage Poster Archives, a trading name of Vintage Poster Archives Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17229210. Our registered office is 167-169 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5PF, United Kingdom.

These terms govern your use of vintageposterarchives.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract.
2. What We Sell
Vintage Poster Archives produces digitally restored reproductions of vintage posters. Every print sold is a reproduction, not an original historical artifact. Our reproductions are curated and digitally restored from historical source materials, then printed to order by our production partners on archival-quality paper. We do not sell original vintage posters.
3. Where We Ship & Sales Tax
We currently ship to the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada.
Prices are shown in GBP (£), USD ($), or CAD ($) depending on your location. Prices for UK customers are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Vintage Poster Archives Ltd is not currently VAT-registered. Prices for US and Canadian customers exclude local sales taxes, which are calculated and added at checkout where we are legally required to collect them. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout. Prices may change without prior notice; the price displayed at checkout is the final price you pay.
For US and Canadian Residents: You are responsible for any state, provincial, or local sales and use taxes that may apply to your order based on your delivery address.
4. How Orders Work (Contract Formation)
When you place an order, you are making a legal offer to purchase the items. You will receive an automated order acknowledgement email immediately upon checkout. This acknowledgement does not constitute our acceptance of your order.
A binding contract is formed only when we send you a separate Dispatch Confirmation Email. The contract covers only the specific items listed in that dispatch confirmation. We reserve the right to decline, cancel, or limit any order at our sole discretion prior to dispatch, including but not limited to instances where an item is unavailable, priced incorrectly, or flagged by our internal security and fraud review.
5. Consumer Orders vs. Trade Orders
For the purposes of these terms, different return rights apply based on the classification of the order:
Consumer Orders: Any single order with a total value below £150 GBP (or $199 USD / $269 CAD) placed by an individual acting for purposes wholly outside their trade, business, craft, or profession.
Trade Orders: Any single order with a total value of £150 GBP ($199 USD / $269 CAD) or above, or any order placed by a business, reseller, commercial buyer, interior designer purchasing for a commercial project, or corporate entity regardless of value.
Trade Orders are strictly exempt from statutory consumer cancellation rights and cooling-off periods. Trade Order returns are handled solely at our discretion or as explicitly agreed in writing.
6. Cancellation, Returns, and Refunds
6.1 Consumer "Change of Mind" Returns (UK/EU Residents Only)
If you are a Consumer residing in the United Kingdom or European Union, you have a statutory right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days from the day you (or a third party nominated by you) take physical possession of the goods.
How to Cancel: To exercise this right, you must inform us via an unequivocal statement emailed to hello@vintageposterarchives.com within the 14-day window.
Returns: You must return the items to our designated return address at your own expense without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from your cancellation notice. Items must be returned in their original packaging, unused, and undamaged.
Refunds: We will refund all payments received from you, including the costs of our standard delivery option, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.
6.2 US and Canadian Consumer Orders
Because our prints are produced on-demand to order, all consumer sales to residents of the United States and Canada are final. Returns, exchanges, or cancellations for "change of mind" are not accepted once an order has entered production (typically within 24 hours of placement).
6.3 Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Goods (All Markets)
We take pride in our quality. If your order arrives damaged in transit or features a manufacturing defect:
UK Consumers: Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a statutory short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or replacement.
US & Canadian Consumers: You must report any manufacturing defects or transit damage within 30 days of delivery to qualify for a free replacement or refund.
Process: Please inspect your package upon arrival. To report an issue, contact hello@vintageposterarchives.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear digital photographs of the damage or defect as outlined in Section 13 below.
7. Intellectual Property & Copyright Notice
All materials, assets, and content on this Site, including but not limited to the "Vintage Poster Archives" name, logos, brand identity, website layout, graphics, product photography, written curatorial descriptions, and the specific digitally restored image files used to generate our prints, are the exclusive intellectual property of Vintage Poster Archives and are protected under international copyright laws.
Our digital restorations involve proprietary artistic labor, clarity enhancements, color balancing, and defect removal. You are strictly prohibited from copying, scraping, downloading, extracting, redistributing, or commercially exploiting any material or imagery from this Site without our express, prior written permission. Watermarks applied to images on the Site are used for identification and brand protection; removing, obscuring, or tampering with these watermarks is strictly prohibited.
Copyright Notice & Takedown: We make every effort to ensure our historical catalog respects intellectual property rights. If you are a rights holder and believe a specific image is displayed or reproduced on our Site without authorization, please contact us directly at hello@vintageposterarchives.com with details of the work so we can review, verify, and address your concern immediately.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
8.1 General Limitation
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be contractually excluded or limited under applicable local consumer laws.
8.2 FOR UNITED STATES AND CANADIAN RESIDENTS:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE AND ALL PRODUCTS SOLD THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
VINTAGE POSTER ARCHIVES DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PRODUCT IMAGES DISPLAYED ON SCREEN WILL PERFECTLY MATCH THE PHYSICAL PRINTS DUE TO VARIABLE USER MONITOR SETTINGS.
IN NO EVENT SHALL VINTAGE POSTER ARCHIVES, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR PRODUCTION PARTNERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PURCHASE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF AN ORDER SHALL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THAT SPECIFIC ORDER.
9. Dispute Resolution: US & Canadian Residents Only (Arbitration & Class Action Waiver)
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights, including your right to file a lawsuit in court.
9.1 Binding Individual Arbitration
If you reside in the United States or Canada, you and Vintage Poster Archives agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of the Site, or the purchase of any product, which cannot be resolved informally, shall be settled exclusively by binding, individual arbitration, rather than in a court of law.
In the US, the arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. In Canada, it will be administered by a recognized local arbitration provider under provincial rules. Judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
9.2 Class Action Waiver
YOU AND VINTAGE POSTER ARCHIVES AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms that is not subject to arbitration (Section 9) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Exception: If you are a consumer resident in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Canada, or the United States, local mandatory consumer protection laws may grant you the right to bring proceedings, or defend proceedings brought against you, in your local home courts and under your local domestic laws.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business operations or changing legal/regulatory requirements. The version of the terms in force on the exact calendar date you place your order is the version that will govern that specific transaction.

13. Returns & Refunds Policy
This section details the practical, operational requirements for canceling an order or processing a return.
13.1 How to Start a Change of Mind Return (UK & EU Consumers Only)
If you qualify as a UK or EU Consumer with an order value under £150 GBP, you must email hello@vintageposterarchives.com within 14 days of delivery. Please use the subject line: Return Request followed by your order number.
Once our customer support team logs your request, we will provide you with the correct return address. You must mail the package back to us within 14 days of this notification.
To ensure your refund is fully processed, you must return the prints rolled carefully in their original protective tissue and heavy-duty shipping tube. We cannot accept returns on posters that have been bent, creased, framed, or damaged due to improper return packaging. You are responsible for the cost of return postage, and we highly recommend utilizing a tracked delivery service as we cannot issue refunds for items lost in transit back to us.
13.2 How to Claim for Transit Damage or Manufacturing Defects (All Markets)
If your package arrives visibly damaged, creased, torn, or contains an incorrect print, you must submit a claim within 30 days of delivery to qualify for a free replacement or a full refund.
To file a claim, email hello@vintageposterarchives.com with your order number and the word Damage or Defect in the subject line. You must attach clear, well-lit digital photographs showing the specific print defect or transit damage, along with a photograph of the external shipping tube if it was crushed or punctured during transit.
Once our quality assurance team reviews and approves the photographic evidence, we will promptly arrange for a new replacement to be printed and dispatched at our expense, or issue a full refund to your original payment method. You do not need to mail damaged or defective prints back to us unless specifically requested by our team.
13.3 Processing Times for Approved Refunds
When a refund is approved, whether for an eligible consumer return or a verified defect, the funds will be issued automatically to the original credit card, debit card, or digital wallet used at checkout.
Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the transaction to appear on your bank statement or credit card account, as processing speeds depend entirely on your financial institution and payment gateway. We are unable to accelerate this clearing window or issue refunds to alternative bank accounts or credit cards.
