The dancer's skirt is a peeled mandarin, segment by segment. The poster is signed by the artist Niez. It was produced by Chamelis, Paris, and is numbered No. 25.

On the poster

A dancer in a skirt made from the exposed segments of a whole mandarin orange turns against a deep cobalt-blue ground. In her left hand she holds an amber bottle labelled Le Mandarin, and her right arm extends outward with a filled wine glass at the end of it. Green leaf shapes knot at her waist where the fruit-skirt begins, and her dark hair is dressed with a ribbon headband and white flowers.

Lower left, in white roman type, the product's claim reads "Mandarines. Oranges fraiches / Plantes ameres salutaires." (Mandarins. Fresh oranges / Wholesome bitter plants.)

Each poster is printed to order using professional giclée printing techniques and archival pigment inks on 200gsm enhanced matte fine art paper.

The natural white, smooth matte finish reduces glare while bringing out rich colours and crisp detail. The inks are designed for excellent lightfastness, helping the artwork retain its colour for years to come.
