The dancer's skirt is made of Cristal Montrond bottle labels. Pierre and Jacques Bellenger were brothers who worked together as poster designers.

On the poster

A woman with dark, wind-swept hair spins against a saturated red ground. Her wide-sleeved green dress fans out into a skirt made entirely of bottle labels, in the same red and green as the poster, and she raises a tall stemmed glass of sparkling water. Cursive script on either side reads "Pétillante" (sparkling) and "Légère" (light). Bold white display lettering above her spells "CRISTAL" over the spaced subtitle "EAU DE TABLE" (table water).

A white footer gives the producer's name: "Ste des Eaux Minérales de Montrond".

Each print begins with historic artwork, carefully restored using the latest digital tools and restoration techniques. Damage is addressed, colours refined and details recovered, while respecting the original composition, lettering and character.

The result? All the charm of the original, without having to live with its unfortunate accidents.

Paper and print details

Good art deserves good paper.

Each poster is printed to order using professional giclée printing techniques and archival pigment inks on 200gsm enhanced matte fine art paper.

The natural white, smooth matte finish reduces glare while bringing out rich colours and crisp detail. The inks are designed for excellent lightfastness, helping the artwork retain its colour for years to come.
