A golden orange grins with its tongue out and a bottle of Rossi balanced on its head. Jean Droit (1884 to 1961) designed the official poster for the Paris 1924 Summer Olympics, and also made advertisements for Martini & Rossi.
The poster itself is credited "d'après Jean Droit".
On the poster
The orange is large and golden against a deep cobalt-blue ground crossed by swirling dark lines. Bold white block-capital lettering, "ROSSI", anchors the lower half, with "APÉRITIF" above it in a lighter weight. The bottle's label carries a miniature of the same orange face.
