Soyuz-3 flew on 26 October 1968, the second crewed Soyuz flight, piloted by Georgy Beregovoy from Baikonur Cosmodrome. The poster's lettering carries a line credited to Vladimir Mayakovsky. Designer unknown.

On the poster

A cadmium-red Soyuz-3 rocket rises from a flat silhouette of the Soviet Union, its finial spire drawn from the form of a Kremlin-tower. It climbs into a dark starfield of brushstroke arcs and scattered white points. To the left a drafting compass and a set-square cut across the sheet at opposing angles, and at the centre sits a bold geometric hammer and sickle. In the lower right the slogan is transliterated as "Nasha zhizn, v gryadushcheye rvatsya" (Our life, to surge into the future), with Mayakovsky's name beneath in italic.

The two colours are cadmium-red and deep charcoal on cream.

Each poster is printed to order using professional giclée printing techniques and archival pigment inks on 200gsm enhanced matte fine art paper.

The natural white, smooth matte finish reduces glare while bringing out rich colours and crisp detail. The inks are designed for excellent lightfastness, helping the artwork retain its colour for years to come.
