On the poster
An open orange hand releases a CCCP-marked rocket into a cobalt-blue starfield. The rocket carries the hammer-and-sickle emblem and Cyrillic lettering on its fuselage, and white booster flame cuts diagonally across the upper half of the sheet. Orbital arcs and star glints fill the ground behind it. In the lower-left corner, four bold lines of white uppercase Cyrillic read "Гордись, советский человек, ты к звёздам путь открыл с Земли!" (Be proud, Soviet man, you opened the path to the stars from Earth).
