A skeletal green centipede crawls across the foreground, and the bald man at the rail keeps hold of his skull. The Strobridge Lithographing Company of Cincinnati and New York printed this colour lithograph around 1900. Harry Kellar, known as the Dean of American Magicians, would retire in 1908. Strobridge printed many posters for Kellar between the 1890s and 1900s.
On the poster
A bald man in evening dress holds a human skull at a rail, with two orange-red horned devils looming over his shoulders. Bats cross a deep navy sky. In a pale blue vignette to the right, Kellar levitates a woman in a pink gown beneath a Gothic arch. The name "KELLAR" fills the right half in broad white freehand script.
