Twelve red imps come down a grand staircase in a tight diagonal, and each one carries a flaming bowl. The National Printing and Engraving Company, which worked from New York, Chicago and St Louis, printed the poster. The McCord Museum has a copy dated to about 1910.
On the poster
A woman in white levitates horizontally above the staircase, held up by a raised wand. Stone grotesques flank the base of the steps. A magician in black evening dress commands from the foreground-right, and a female assistant in a white double-breasted costume stands at ease beside him. Bold cadmium red slab type anchors the foot of the sheet: "THE ORIGINAL JOLLY PULLS CO."
