Fourteen Allied nations' flags form a bold blue V for Victory in this 1941 British propaganda poster. The Union Jack, Stars and Stripes, French tricolour, Soviet flag unite with flags of China, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Greece, Yugoslavia, Norway, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, and Brazil in a stark symbol of wartime alliance.

Commissioned by His Majesty's Stationery Office and printed by Fosh & Cross Ltd in London during the height of the Blitz. The Ministry of Information deployed this design to communicate that Britain was not fighting alone, transforming Churchill's famous V gesture into graphic propaganda where fourteen nations literally form the victory symbol.

The composition reduces complex geopolitics to pure visual impact. A blue V against cream paper, red and white flags creating the letter that promised eventual triumph over fascism. This became one of the defining images of Allied unity during World War Two's darkest period.

Restored as an archival print from the original 1941 lithograph, preserving the bold colour palette and crisp typography that made wartime propaganda so visually effective.
