Inducted into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame in 1981 and born in San Francisco, Galli was among the most prolific American advertising illustrators of the mid-century period, his work was published in the Saturday Evening Post and Reader's Digest, and his art hangs in the Pentagon and the Baseball Hall of Fame. The original lithograph is held in the Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division.
